Qmuzik joins the Constellation Software family
What our 2020 acquisition by Constellation Software International (TSX: CSU) means for customers, staff and the long-term future of the platform.

In 2020, Qmuzik Technologies joined Constellation Software International (TSX: CSU) — a publicly-listed group that has been acquiring and holding vertical-market software businesses for more than three decades.
What it means for our customers
Constellation's approach is deliberately different from the typical software-industry acquirer. It is a buy-and-hold group: businesses that join the family are supported, invested in and grown for the long term. There is no cycle of buy-improve-flip; there is no forced roadmap change; there is no pressure to sunset the products our customers have built their operations on.
Practically, that gives our customers three things:
- Continuity. The Qmuzik team, product, roadmap and support model continue — reinforced by the resources of a global group.
- Longevity. A parent group that has been at this for three decades is a strong signal that we will be around for the next three.
- Investment. The freedom to keep investing in manufacturing software — modern web platform, AI, cloud-ready deployment — with a long-horizon view instead of a quarterly one.
What it means for our team
Autonomy, with support. Qmuzik retains its identity, its culture and its focus on manufacturing customers. Group-wide resources — technical, financial, operational — are available when useful, without turning us into someone else's subsidiary.
The commitment to our customers
Every operating group inside Constellation runs its own business. Ours is manufacturing software, and it will remain manufacturing software. If you have been a Qmuzik customer for the last thirty years, the acquisition is a strong assurance that you will still be a Qmuzik customer for the next thirty.
